Lisa Brophy and her team of researchers from La Trobe University are exploring how the college is working to create a safe space for learning about mental health and recovery; and its impact on students’ lives and the wider mental health system.

Have you been involved with the ACT Recovery College?

Are you:

  • A current or past student of the college?

  • A family member or other support person of a student?

  • A college educator or staff member?

  • Involved with a Mental Health Community Coalition member organisation?

  • A health care provider for people experiencing mental health challenges
(eg. GP, private psychiatrist, clinician working in mental health services)?

The purpose is to evaluate the success of the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) Recovery College pilot, with a focus on the experiences and learning outcomes for students and other stakeholders such as family and carers, Recovery College staff and educators as well as external service providers.
Additionally, the evaluation will explore the College’s reach and fit within the broader mental health system in the ACT.

We’re interested in hearing about your experiences with the Recovery College.

We are a team of researchers who are exploring how the college is working to create a safe space for learning about mental health and recovery, and its impact on students’ lives and the wider mental health system.

You can have your say by contacting Catherine Brasier (previously Minshall) to attend the focus groups on
