Call out for Trainers - MIEACT

MIEACT have been appointed the Local Area Coordinator of Youth Aware of Mental Health (YAM) over the next 2 years in partnership with BlackDog and ACT Health. As a result we are looking to expand our team and employ more casual Trainers.

MIEACT are looking for Trainers (employed staff on a casual basis) to deliver a new youth suicide prevention program in the ACT, Youth Aware of Mental Health (YAM). The role does not require the individual to share their lived experience.

There are a few key things to consider:

- The position is a Level 5.1 casual rate $50.01. Engagement is 10hrs over 3 weeks per school, rosters are set at the beginning of each Term. There is no capacity requirements, but all trained Instructors should commit to delivery with at least 2 schools over 18 months.

- As our partners BlackDog screen all our preferred applicants. The application deadline is 27th January.

- Must be available to attend training in Canberra in February (24-28, 2020).
