All the staff at the ACT Recovery College would like to thank you all for your support throughout 2020. What a wild year it has been for everyone!!
The College is now closed as all the staff take a very well earned break. We will resume work again from 11th January, though most of us will be working remotely for the month of January.
We acknowledge that normally this time of the year can be very stressful for many people without the added pressures that COVD19 has had on us all this year. Please take the time to look after yourselves, your loved ones and those you care about.
If you find yourself struggling, take some time to read over some of the course materials that you have from one of the course you have undertaken with us, reach out to a trusted friend or family member to let them know how your feeling or contact some one in your treating specialist team.
AccessLine (1800 629 354) and LifeLine (13 11 14) will remain available 24/7 over the holiday season also.
The entire team at the College would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone that has played a part in the success of another year open at the College; our Educators for their continued valuable input and delivery of our courses, our Volunteers who answer the call to assist when we need an extra set of hands, our Interns this year for their fabulous contribution to new and revised course content for you all, our CIT students who assisted in our social media project, the governance of the College for their oversight and leadership, our external partnerships for your beneficial contributions, though most importantly, to you - our Students!! We thank you for continuing to show up (for yourselves) and also for bring a smiling face and positive energy to the College/Zoom. It's the passion for making a difference for you all that fuels the staff here to keep striving to be the best we can be, so thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!
Here's hoping that 2021 will be a phenomenal new year filled with lots of hope, opportunity, connection and learning for us all.
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas (holiday season for those of you who don't celebrate Christmas) and a Happy New Year to each and every one of you!!
