Wow, where did the month of May go??
It's flown by so quickly and we are now looking at the enrolments for the remainder of Term 2, June and July. Many people have already expressed their interest and excitement for the sessions on offer for the second half of the term. Have you seen the calendar for what's on offer? Visit the Term 2 tab on our website.
Like the first half of the term, we are continuing all sessions as stand alone sessions via Zoom as we remain physically distant. This means that you can pick and choose which sessions you would like to attend. For example, previously Anxiety: It's not that simple - was offered as an ongoing 6 week course that you attended all the sessions of. This term we are excited to offer it as 6 individual sessions, so you can either choose to do the whole 6 sessions or pick from the subjects of that course that interest you the most.
This is the same for Community Connections & Belonging, Creative Care for Recovery and Move & Connect. You have not needed to have attended any of the previously held sessions - join in where ever your interested throughout the term.
We've had a few people concerned that they may not have all the right 'materials' for some classes, we encourage you to join in anyway. Our Educators are really resourceful in coming up with some common alternatives that can be found around the average home.
For those who are not past students of the College and really wanting to connect in with us, we are excited to announce that we are now opening our 'Coffee and Chat' sessions on Friday mornings to everyone. This gives you the opportunity to jump on a call and connect with College staff to ask questions about what we have on offer, meet and talk with past and current students and hear how others have benefited from attending our different sessions and for a bit of social connection through what's be a challenging time for many people.
To join these sessions, keep an eye on our Facebook page, visit our website or use the details on the image below. If you have never used Zoom before, you will find Cheat Sheets on our Students Resources page of our website.
