Mindfulness & Meditation

Our friends over at Wellways have a wonderful group running that many of you may be interested to know more about... The Life in Community (LinC) Mindfulness and Meditation group will help you learn about the mind and gain some techniques for staying in the present moment. This group will take you on a journey, learning about the mind, gratefulness and mindfulness that will help you relax, concentrate and manage day to day life. It is a group that encourages conversation about the concepts and practices and morning tea will also be provided. The group is open to the whole of community along with participants in the LinC program. The LinC workshops are an inclusive program designed to promote good mental health in the community and create communities that are more accessible, inclusive and supportive. The workshops are open to everyone, regardless of skill level - from beginner through to those with more experience.

The LinC Mindfulness and Meditation group will run every Friday from 10:30am to 12:30pm commencing this Friday, 6th September. Places in the group are limited, so please contact Amelia at LinCact@wellways.org or phone
