Then attending the Optimising Recovery under the NDIS is the course for you (or someone you know / care for).

Location: MHCC ACT - Canberra City
Over four weeks, you will explore different perspectives of recovery and how to use a model to develop your recovery goals and construct your story. You will learn about:
goal setting and how to use both informal and formal supports to achieve your own personal goals of recovery
self-care strategies to manage wellbeing and support recovery.
how to use these strategies to assist you to explain your goals and needs in both comfortable and uncomfortable spaces.
You will gain insight into governmental processes by expanding your knowledge on the NDIS, the language they use and their planning processes. This is knowledge that you can use in your interactions with other governmental departments and agencies. Each session will build your knowledge of recovery, goal setting, self-care and informal and formal supports for recovery.
